Privacy Policy
About Taste helps you record your personal preferences. We keep your catalog on your device whenever possible and do not require a developer account.
Information We Handle
Entries, names, photos, avatars, page backgrounds, imported catalogs, and exported files are stored locally on your device by default. About Taste does not upload this content to a developer server.
You may choose to send a share image or catalog file using the system share sheet. You control the recipient, method, and save location.
Photos and Camera
The app requests photo or camera access only when you choose a photo, capture an entry, or save a generated image. It does not scan your library in the background or upload photos to the developer.
Purchases
The lifetime unlock for sharing catalog files is processed through Apple's App Store purchase flow. Apple handles payment information; About Taste does not receive your credit card or payment account details.
Deleting Data
You can edit or delete entries in the app, or uninstall the app to remove local app-sandbox data. Exported files must be deleted by you from their chosen storage location.
Third-Party Services
The app uses Apple system services for photo selection, system sharing, and in-app purchases. Those services are governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.
